Quick Overview
This tea comes from a plantation in the southeast of the island and is famous for its long leaves, which mark it out from other Ceylon teas, which are generally small-leaf teas. In contrast to other Asian countries, tea-growing in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) is a relatively recent phenomenon dating from the 19th century.
